Here’s Chapter 79.

I honestly haven’t been translating as much as I had hoped I would during my break.
I guess it’s hard for me to want to do work when it’s the holidays XD.
Shadow Tactics: The Shogun’s Blade might also have something to do with it……

Either way, I haven’t gotten round to translating these chapters until the night before release so I apologise if some of it is worded badly.

Final note, I know a lot of you are pretty mad with Kuust, but I would suggest enjoying him while you can, there’s a character in the next arc who is even more of a jerk XD.

I was planning to release two chapter today but RL got in the way and I almost didn’t even manage to finish this one.
I was thinking that I could take today off as a holiday because it’s Christmas, but then it’s still Christmas Eve for anyone west of Greenwich.

About the chapter, not sure if Vel is trolling Kuust or not, but either way Kuust isn’t happy lol.

Was going to translate more this week but I got asked to help co-write a technical paper so the past few days have been busy.

Also, the next chapter is due……Christmas day……hmmm……well we’ll see XD

Whew, here’s Chapter 75

I should be back home by the time this is released.

However at point I am writing this, I am in Singapore airport where I managed to translated the remaining 40% or so of the chapter while waiting for my connecting flight.

It’s been a busy three weeks for me but stuff should be back to normal, after I recover from my messed up sleep schedule of course XD.

I woke up at 4:30 this morning so I’m pretty tired right now, drop a comment if you see any mistakes.

Here’s the last chapter I translated before leaving for my trip, Chapter 74.

On a side note, this post and the last 2 were all scheduled to be released before I even left for my trip XD.

Considering all I said last week, things aren’t quite that bad for you all.
Luckily, I actually managed to translate a few more chapters before I left.
I spent the last week in Thailand, so plenty of spicy food and beer.
Speaking of beer, I’ve drank more beer in the last week than I have in the rest of my life before last week XD.

Hi everyone, so I’d thought I’d mention this first but by the time this chapter is released, I will actually be on a plane to Singapore XD.

Basically, I will be heading around Singapore, Bangkok, Kualar Lumpur and Hong Kong for the next 20 days.
This means that I have absolutely no idea if I will have any time to translate or have the internet to post chapters, so bear with me for the next 4 weeks.

Aside from that, I should have corrected the timezone releases so my site and MBC should now release at the same time.
However, if there are any issues, it may take me a day or two before I can fix them, same approving new comments.

I’ve had 3 large internet outages in the past week and I’m having to post this chapter from mobile net.
*grumbles about useless ISP, how can you have 3 major failures on the same hardware in one week*

Anyhow, still have one more exam to go on Wednesday so things should slow down for me after that.

P.S. Fun fact, the day after my exams will be one year since I released the first translated chapter of Legend XD

EDIT: It looks like the MBC page didn’t post, my site and MBC run on two different time zones for scheduling so I suspect there may have been a DST change that desynced the releases. My site runs on GMT which is why there no change for that, MBC runs on either -4 or -5 which may have caused an issue, sorry for the confusion.

So, a few things before the chapter link.

Firstly, volume 7 of the Legend light novel will be released on 11th Nov and it’s cover has been added to the Gallery.
Just as a piece of information, it corresponds to chapter 347 or so.

Secondly, Hibat as been kind enough to link me the pictures from volume 1-3 of the light novels. They were hosted by Karoshi the Dimension Breaker on Facebook. I have added the relevant images to the corresponding chapters they appear in. Some images have not been added as they seem to show stuff that may have been rewritten slightly or added in. These pictures are currently in chapters only and will not appear in the Gallery until I figure out how to make that page less spoilerish. For those that want to go back and look, the chapters with pictures are 3, 5, 8, 12, 23, 26, 30, 37, 42, 46, 49, 54, 56, 63 and 65.

Thirdly, somewhere around this and the next few chapters actually marks the end of volume 2 of the light novels so that’s nice isn’t it? I know some of you feel that I will never finish translating this series but let me at least explain how much stuff there actually is. The entire Toaru Majutsu no Index series is currently at 38 volumes with 2.66 million words translated. The Legend web novel would be about 3 million words right now if it was all translated. Go figure.

Lastly, I still have two exams to go so I can’t guarantee chapters will come out the next two weeks but I’ll try my best. Chapter 70
